Анотация: The paper proposes a new method to improve the performance of the targets detection in the sea clutter using the dispersion of polarimetry coefficient K. The performance of detection using the parameter K and the dispersion of K were examined with different types of targets in different models of clutter such as Rayleigh, Weibull and Laplace; the special case in that the parameter K of target is the same as that of the clutter. The results showed that the effectiveness of detection using the dispersion of K was increased significantly and better than using only the parameter K.
