Анотация: The article is devoted to the hearing improving surgery - tympanoplasty of the first type. Purpose: to increase the effectiveness of tympanoplasty surgery of the first type. Objectives: to develop an algorithm for the selection of patients, to carry out thorough preoperative preparation and post-operative care in order to achieve maximum effect. If the proposed methods of choice and postoperative care are followed, the efficiency of the operation reaches 87%.
